Even though your servers will generally experience their highest loads during business hours when there are lots of people around to help if things go wrong, it's amazing how often things go wrong after hours. Most servers are set up to do their routine maintenance, backups, and updates after hours and these unattended routines can cause problems that can be pretty severe if no one is around to address them.

You will need the following things to take advantage of our after hours emergency support:

  • The server(s) you wish us to support must be Linux-based
  • You must be willing to allow us to put our public key on the servers you wish us to support in order to allow us to log in to your server. This is a more secure method than passing out your root password.
  • You must sign up to set up an account and receive instruction on how to activate your emergency support should you need to. Only clients that are pre-setup on the WATSYS system can have the peace of mind of our technicians standing behind you 24/7.
